Citizenship Amendment Act
As you know, the case of intruders has been a topic of discussion in the country for a long time. The NRC was first worked in Assam to flush out intruders from the country. But there was such a dispute about NRC that some people who are real residents of the country have also been kept out of the list of citizenship, to solve this problem of the people, the government has made the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019.

CAA Rules and conditions, (CAA act/ bill )

In CAA 2019, citizenship rules have been made easier for migrants from Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh, Christian and Parsi religions who have been tortured from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. According to the earlier rule, it was mandatory for any person to stay here for the last 11 years to get citizenship of India. Now this rule has been made very easy and now the period of obtaining citizenship has been reduced from one year to 6 years, now people of 6 religions of these countries who have come to India in the last 1 to 6 years will be able to get citizenship.

Illegal migrant, (CAA Rules )

According to the Citizenship Act, 1955, citizenship of India cannot be granted to illegal migrants. According to this law, illegal migrants are considered those who have entered India without valid travel documents like Passport and Visa or have come to India with valid documents but for longer than the period mentioned in that Passport and Visa. Has stopped

The Process to Bill Pass,   (CAA amendment bill )

According to the rules of parliamentary procedures, if a bill is passed in the Lok Sabha, but if the term of the Lok Sabha expires before it is passed in the Rajya Sabha, then, in that case, that bill becomes ineffective. This means that it has to be re-passed in both houses. But the rule related to Rajya Sabha is different. If a bill is pending in the Rajya Sabha and if it is not passed by the Lok Sabha and the Lok Sabha is dissolved, then, in that case, the bill is not nullified. Since this bill could not be passed by the Rajya Sabha and meanwhile the term of the 16th Lok Sabha ended, so again this bill had to be passed in both the houses. This law became after the President's signature.
