What is a keyboard? ( Keyboard Kya Hai In English )
The keyboard is called the input device of the computer. To perform a task, the user can give his command to the computer through the keyboard. The keyboard is also used for typing in addition to performing any task on the computer.
Whenever performing a task on a computer, input has to be given through the keyboard. And it is through this input that it writes anything into the computer. A computer can never function without data input.
The keyboard is connected in many ways. Like USB cable can connect the keyboard to the computer. The second one is the wireless connecting keyboard. The keyboard has all the keys like a typewriter.
The keyboard most commonly used is "Qwerty". USB cable is used to connect the keyboard to the computer. There are many types of keys on the keyboard, using which commands are given to different input computers.
Keyboard Invention
The first practical modern typewriter was patented in 1868 by Christopher Latham Sholes. The history of the keyboard is believed, to begin with the invention of Typewriter. Typewriters gradually evolved into Standard Computer Keyboard due to technological improvements. The keyboard was first used in Qwerty computers in 1878.
How Many Types of Keyboard Keys
Function keys
Function Keys are located at the top of the keyboard. The number of keyboard function keys ranges from F1 to F12. Function Keys are used to performing certain tasks.
Navigation Keys
Arrow Keys: - The number of Arrow Keys rotated in all four directions is four. Such as Up Arrow, Down Arrow, Left Arrow, and Right Arrow. These keys are used to move the Cursor and document or a web page in the direction of Arrows.
Home Key: - Home Key is used to bring the cursor to the beginning of a document or page. By this, the cursor comes from anywhere.
End Key: - Use of End Key is exactly the opposite of home keys. Using the end key, the Cursor moves from anywhere to the end of the document or page.
Insert Key: - Insert Key is used to turn on and off the Insert Mode.
Insert Key: - Insert Key is used to turn on and off the Insert Mode.
Delete Key: - Using the Delete Key, deletes the text after the cursor on the page. It is also used to delete selected Text, Document or Folder.
Page Up Key: - Page Up Key is used to move over any page or document. Apart from the page, Cursor also goes up.
Page Down Key: - Use of Page Down Key is completely opposite to the Page Sub key. Using this we can go to the bottom of any page. Also, the Cursor is moved down.
Control keys
Esc Key: - Esc key is used to cancel any work currently inputted. The ESC key's full name is Escape Key.
Ctrl Key: - The Ctrl key is not used alone. Along with this, it only works when using another key. It is used as a shortcut on the keyboard. With this, different tasks are done using many other keys. Its full name is Control Key.
Alt Key: - Alt key is also used in Keyboard Shortcuts. The alt key is called the alter key.
Window Logo Key: - The window logo key is used to open the computer's start menu. More work is done using the other key with the window key. Like “window + e”, this opens My Computer.
Menu Key: - Menu Key is used like Right Click of Mouse. This opens the options related to the selected program.
Prtscr Key: - Like Mobile, this key is used to take the screen short of the computer screen.
Typing keys
It is used the most. Typing keys have two keys. The first is alphabet. And there are other numbers. It is also called Alphanumeric Keys. Alphanumeric Keys contain Symbols and Punctuation Marks.
Numeric keys
It is also called as Calculator Keys due to Numeric Keys being a decoration calculator as its key. It includes +, -, *, 0,1, 2, 9 etc. With this keyboard present on the keyboard, the number is typed in the computer.

Wireless Keyboard

Being flexible, the flexible keyboard does not break even when it falls. Such a keyboard can also be folded due to its softness. Such a keyboard is made with a thin sheet of rubber.
Gaming and Multimedia Keyboard
A gaming and multimedia keyboard is one such keyboard. Those who listen to music or play games in mind, are specially made for them something different. There are many different buttons for music in such a keyboard. Due to which it is easy to change music or reduce the volume or to do many other things. Also, directions are made on the keys of the keyboard for playing the game. So that it can play the game easily. Such keyboards are strong. Note: - This keypad is only in the external keyboard. Numeric Keypad is not provided due to less space in laptops.
Number Keys: - The number of Number Keys in the keyboard is 10 from 0 to 9.
Alphabetic Keys: - A keyboard consists of 26 Alphabetic Keys.
Special Characters: - The number of Special Characters in the keyboard is about 40.
Rows Keys: - There are a total of six rows of keys in the keyboard. In this, the sable above has function keys in rows. This is followed by a symbol with digits in second rows. After that Alphabetic Letters are placed in three rows. Then the last contains the rows in which the space bar is located.
Keyboard Layout
Qwerty: - This is a commonly used keyboard layout. Qwerty was used as the First Keyboard Layout. It was presented by Christopher Latham Sholes in 1873. This layout was designed to reduce Mistakes.
Dvorak: - Dvorak Keyboard Layout was presented by August Dvorak in 1936. People doing professional work on the keyboard use this keyboard. Because this keyboard was designed for Speed Typing. In this, the key of Common Letters was applied in such a way that it could be typed quickly.
Azerty: - This keyboard layout is used mostly in France, looking like a Qwerty keyboard layout.
Colemark: - This modern colemark keyboard layout provides a lot of speed in terms of typing, being considered the Upgrade Version of Qwerty and Dvorak Keyboard Layout.
